Greetings Bella Fonte Friends and Families, We are making this statement so hopefully everyone understands the rights the United States of America protects and provides us as citizens. We have a beautiful Venue, The Rilassante Room. This room has held many Birthday Parties, Anniversary parties, Swim Meets, Wedding Rehearsal Parties, Corporate events for Banks, Doctors, Insurance Companies and much more. There are at least 15 employees, we all have different political affiliations and never do we ask a customer their political or religious affiliation to determine whether or not we will serve them. A few people have contacted us, they are are concerned,about an event being held here next weekend. and feel we should not allow a certain political party to use our Banquet room for their event, they are stating "Bella Fonte is sponsoring this event. We are not . Their advertisement clearly states the event is being held AT Bella Fonte not BY Bella Fonte, thinking that WE are hosting an event next weekend as a statement of support. Because we live in America our citizens are protected against discrimination due to race, religious affiliation, political affiliation, sexual affiliation and more. As citizens, we uphold that right, we don't have to agree with any one person's view, but we dutifully & gladly serve all without discrimination. This is what we are called to do to protect the freedoms so many have died to protect. If our Policy was "We do not serve Republicans" then we would have to "not serve Democrats, Handicapped citizens, , the list would go on and on until "We do not serve left handed people" would be on the list just because someone objected to our serving Left handed people. We will always choose to serve everyone as equals. I appreciate your right to disagree with any political views out their, and understand if you wish not to do business here, (sorry you feel you cannot frequent our establishment, but we understand that is your right) And it is your right because you are one of the fortunate persons to be a citizen of the United States of America!
